We have just heard from SUZANNE DEAN whose work on copic markers is undeniably outstanding. Many Copic users follow her on her website and her blog www.scrapbitz.blogspot.com . She also designs for many stamp companies and is the Owner of Color Me Creative Classroom. She is a copic expert and teaches all over the U.S.
She has agreed to come to our store on November 14th to teach 2 classes. Here are the details......
The Beg/Intermediate Class will run from 9:00 am til 2:30 pm (with a 30 min break) and then the Advanced would be 3 pm until 7:30 pm (with a 30 min. break).
Beg/Intermediate is $85 US and Advanced is $75 US---each has a $45 US deposit with the balance due 14 days before the class (at which time invoices with the balance will be sent out). Suzanne can accept money orders/checks if you do not want to use PayPal but you must email her to let her know so she can "HOLD" a spot for you. You can also cancel with a full refund up to 2 weeks before--after that it is only a 50% refund as she buys all the products beforehand. Another note is please, please do not be late for the class---Suzanne will start at 9 am and 3 pm on the dot so she can get in all the information that she possibly can and that those who are there get their full time in the class! The Beg/Intermediate Class is NOTHING like the Copic Certification--while Suzanne does go over the basics of the copics and what they are, the main concentration is on coloring and techniques. So those who have been certified might want to jump into advanced but she recommends they don't unless they can color like a whiz in every single way! The advanced class is tough, she does not repeat beginning techniques and jumps right into the harder techniques!
Each person will get a bag with some stamp/copic goodies in it and Suzanne will raffle off a full goody bag in each class (2 tix for $1) --the money raised from the raffle is matched by her and will be donated to either a local charity or one that she volunteers with regularly (Unicef, Animal Rescue Groups, Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, Abused Women & Children's homes). On the website above she will put in the receipt to the charity for each class so everyone can see where their money went !You can register through her website which is www.cmcroad.com or Suzanne has allowed Stamplicity to take registrations as well. My website guru will be setting up paypal and the registration process through my site. As well, in the article that is on my site about the class you will be able to comment to me that you would like to register and instead of using paypal, you can call me with your credit card information. That is for those of you who don't like paying over the internet. Please be aware that your "spot" will only be held for a short time so you must contact me ASAP with your payment. Suzanne's conditions regarding cancelling and refund also apply to registration with me.
Some people have already indicated they wish to take both classes. With this in mind, you might want to consider bringing a snack for break or lunch time.
Suzanne does provide markers for students to use in the class. You can also bring your own. If you bring your own please have your name on them.
Closer to the class date Suzanne will provide me with a list of markers she will be using in the classes. I will pass this information on to students. I plan to have the markers in stock and if you wish to purchase them they will be available at a discount before the class. If you plan to purchase certain markers it would be great to give me advance notice so I can have sufficent in stock. This can take two weeks.
This is a amazing opportunity to learn from one of the best!!!! Don't hesitate to sign up quickly
