CLASSES
CLASS SCHEDULE
My experience with scheduling classes is that people wish to take them, but what I schedule does not necessarily work with others schedules. Therefore if you are interested in taking any of the classes below please call the store, tell anyone of the staff who answers what you are looking for, a date and time that you want and if it works we'll book the class for you. We will then post the class, if others sign up that's fine, if it's just you that's OK as well. We're here for our customers!!!!!

UNIQUE CLASS AND PEEL IDEAS.....$20.00......APPROX 2 HOURS.....new class
There are so many things you can do with class and peel stickers. We have so many stickers in the store and many new ones to come in the future. In this class you will learn the planet punch technique on the middle card. So many ladies have asked about these cards. Now you can learn the secret and then play with glitter to finish off the sticker. The third card also has people wondering how on earth it was done.
"STRESSLESS" DISTRESS CARD CLASS.......$20.00.....APPROX 2 HOURS.....new class
We will focus on a few different techniques using a "distress look" on 2 cards. As well, you will get a chance to use the latest "Tim Holtz" distress inks to colour a black and white photo (photo will be provided) The look is amazing!! You will come away with some new techniques for your cards and/or scrapbook pages.
A POCKETFUL OF CARDS....$20.00....APPROX 2 HOURS......new class
Working with double-sided papers, stamps, punches and cardstock, we will make 3 cards that have or are pockets. When we are finished, we'll make another pocket to hold the cards. There will be room to store a few more in it as well.
GET CREATIVE WITH CUTTLEBUG.....$20.00 APPROX 2 HOURS ...new class
Learn how to get the most out of your cuttlebug embossing folders as we explore different techniques to create 5 beautiful cards.
FOLDING FUN......$20............2 HOURS
In this class you will be learning different folding techniques that can be applied to stamp and scrapbook projects. A tea bag folding design, a folding frame for a picture, & a folding heart are among some of the projects that will be completed. The following are ideas that can be completed in class. You will have time to complete 1 project in each of the folding techniques shown below.

STAMPBOARD TECHNIQUES..........$20......APPROX 2 HOURS
You’ll work with stamps, inks, stampboard, stylus and a scratching tool to create unique embellishments to attach to cards and scrapbook pages. The following are just samples that can be done with stampboard. The last pictures shows how you can add a piece of stampboard to your scrapbook page. In class you will be personalizing your own stampboard .
QUICKIE ENVELOPE ALBUM....$20......APPROX.....2 HOURS
This mini album is so easy and so much fun. You can "whip it up" in an afternoon. It's a bonus that all you need are a few basic supplies!! This is a perfect gift album....it is inexpensive. and doesn't require a lot of photos. You will need to bring6 to 12 photos
QUILLING ON CARDS..........$20............APROX 2 HOURS
This technique has quite a history and is coming back into popularity. You can check many cards on our quilling page. We have now developed a class that you will thoroughly enjoy due to the simplicity of the technique and the cards that can be created with stamps or just fancy paper and cardstock.
THE BASICS OF RUBBER STAMPING ...$15....2 HOURS
A great class for those who are just beginning to explore the world of rubber stamping. You will work with dye and pigment inks and learn to emboss with powders using a heat tool. You will complete 2 cards and a bookmark.
IRIS FOLDING.....$20....2 HOURS
This paper folding technique has been around for many years and is back on the popularity list once more. Don’t be fooled by the look of the finished product-it is very easy. We hope to complete several cards in the class. Excellent technique to apply to scrapbook pages.
BASIC PERGAMANO..$20....2 HOURS
This class is entirely different than anything you have seen and one of my favorite techniques. The samples in the store are a must see to appreciate what you will be learning. I made my daughter’s wedding invitations with this art.
BASIC SCRAPBOOKING..$20...2 HOURS
This is an introduction to scrapbooking. The basic tools needed to get started will be explained and will take away that overwhelming feeling. Bring at least 15 pictures to work with as you will hopefully complete or get a good start on a couple pages.
IRIS FOLDING PICTURES...$20.00....2 HOURS??
Take iris folding to the next level. You can either make a card or start a scrapbook page. You need 5 good copies of 1 picture to complete 1 project. For those of you doing a page, bring as many pictures as you want as long as it’s 5 copies of each picture. You can get as many done as time permits. It is very important you bring a VERY sharp ex-acto knife.
It would be great to talk to me first when registering for the class so I can explain clearly what is involved.
PERGAMANO PLUS.....$20....APPROX. 2 HOURS
In this class we will explore further into pergamano by using various needles and cutting techniques such as crosses. The card below can no way be completed in class but you will learn all the techniques to start this card and can complete it at home.
STAMPSCAPES......$20.........APPROX 2 HOURS
Have had interest again in this techniques and the Stampscapes line so lets do some classes again. You will learn how to do scenery on your cards with a very unique line. Check out the site or the samples in the store. These cards are great if you are stumped in what kind of card to make for men. Fun class just using stamps, ink and glossy cardstock.
RECIPE BOOK........$20.........APPROX 2 HOURS
In this class, you will create a one of a kind recipe book . Learn how to use double sided paper to your advantage by embellishing your pages with scraps. The new McGill tab punch will also be used. What a fun project and neat gift to create.
ALCOHOL INK MAGIC..........$20........APPROX 2 HOURS
These inks are the latest craze as you can do so much with them. Come and learn the fun you can have creating amazing projects using non-porous surfaces such as acetate and glossy cardstock. These inks work great on metal and tin as well. Very additive inks.
TEABAG FOLDING......$20.........APPROX 2 HOURS
In this class you will complete 2 cards using a few different folds. It looks difficult but as long as your hands are nimble it's a easy and fun class. Some tips as well as a handout will be given to help you when you work with the technique at home.
PAPER BAG ALBUM.....$20..............APPROX 2 HOURS
Looking for a unique way to capture memories from a special occasion? Learn how to transform simple brown paper bags in a fun album. All you have to do is add your pictures & journaling.
FUNKY LETTERING & DOODLE DESIGNS....$20.....APPROX 2 HOURSWe'll give you a sampling of different alphabets to help you create fun titles and as doodling is so popular, bring a couple of fine writing pens (such as micron) in different colours that have a point of 005 or 01. This is just a sample of what Brenda made up but of course you will personalize your own projects.

There is no cost to attend if you bring all your own supplies. You have access to books, videos and magazines to get ideas for whatever you want to do. Pauline or one of her assistants are there to assist you with advice or guidance. If you wish to use the workshop supplies on Monday & Wednesday. there is a $6.00 fee....on Saturday the fee is $10.00 for however long you stay. For this fee you will have use of all the stamps, inks and embossing powders available in the workshop. Also available are coloured pencils, templates, stencils, light box, stylist, punches, rulers, trimmers, and a heat gun. . Extra fees apply for use of Cuttlebug and Cricut usage. Please pay the fee in cash when you arrive.
All you have to bring is your album, pictures, paper, adhesives, coluzzle knife and mat (if that is the cutting system you use) and colouring mediums. Of course you’re welcome to buy any papers and we’ll keep a running tab for you throughout the session. Ladies like this as they bring their pictures and then have the opportunity to lay their pictures on the papers to co-ordinate everything. We’ll help you do that if you need any help. We’re here to make scrap booking easier for you and to give you that quality time to get it done without the "at home" interruptions we all experience.
You can bring your own lunch on the Saturday if you wish. Come out & try it!! You’ll be surprised at how much you can get accomplished being with other ladies who are working on the same hobby as you.
