For some reason we find people are not into the Valentine cardmaking in any big way but being Brenda picked these designs to bring into the store she got her creative juices flowing and came up with the following lovely sweetheart cards.  The "Love" card is done with the "Garden of Love" cheery Lynn die # B141 and the border with #DL134. She used the 12 x 12 Best Creation glitter cardstock and told me the die cut through the thick glitter like butter.

Her other 2 cardswere done with a combination of Cheery Lynn dies ``Celtic Heart B144 (1st card) and ``Two of Hearts`` DL128 and embossong folders.

So we begin our new designs for 2012.

Brenda made this card for her friend's birthday.  Pretty colours.

Darcie has been bringing out some great embossing folders.  I couldn't resist making up this card with the teddy  folder.  A customer allowed me to use the die she was buying.  Just makes you smile doesn't it.

After Janice finished all the work I left her when I went to Houston, she found some time to design these cards.  The stamp is one of Penny Black's.  The second card is one of the new Tim Holtz dies.. Vintage Noel.

It's even hard for Brenda to get to play at making cards with all the classes she's teaching and designing but she did manage to complete a couple cute ones using the new "Cherry Blossum" embossing folder with Viva Decor Pens.  The second card is done with "butterfly kisses" embossing folder and the new tiny butterfly punch set.  The final card below is the "floral summer" embossing folder and a Penny Black Stamp.

Well two weekends in a row for me to buckle down and play!  I had a ball designing these cards.  A couple of them were started by Brenda and I just added some finishing touches.

As many of you know it's hard for me to find time to play so with the extended hours I had during Canal Days, between customers I put a few cards together.

All cards in the picture below are done with the Hearfelt Creations line.

This card was made with a relatively new Cuttlebug folder.  All I did was coloured the rose with a smooch top coat and the stem and leaves with a versamark pen and dusted Pearl EX on the versamark ink to give it a bit of colour.  Stamped love in versamark and embossed with silver.  So easy yet very elegant as a wedding card.

The following 2 cards were done basically with Best Creations glitter pattern paper and the little girl was stamped and layered onto the second card.  I had fun doing these cards.

Can't go wrong with a Penny Black stamp, brushing on some markers to the stamp and stamping on glossy cardstock.  Add glossy accents to the butterflies and you have yourself a cool card.

Ten Second Studio have some very neat products to work with.  They will be featured in classes at our Fall Fling.

Brenda made these cards for Mothers Day and used stamps from Outlines.  Then brought out her Copic Markers.  Now she's interested in working with more of the new Outline designs and playing with her copics again.  So much to play with, so little time.

These cards were done with the Glitter Ritz we now carry in our store.  We have been having fun with this product.  The glitter is so fine and the exciting new product they have brought out is a cloth that can catch all the glitter that has strayed around your table.  This product really works.

The next 3 cards were done with Rubber Stamp Tapestry stamps.  We did not make these.  Bryan and Sandy saw these done in California and I put them on the site as the company has brought out a template to make this little dress.  It's adorable isn't it, and I will be bringing the template into the store as soon as I can get an order in.  We already carry the little stamps.

This card was done with reinkers, a brayer and some bleach.  Simply put some drops of ink onto a piece of foil, using a brayer, spread the ink out and put it on a piece of cardstock.  Then take a stamp and using versafine black, emboss the design with black embossing powder and then with a fine brush using bleach, bleach out the colour inside your design.  How easy is that to make a card.
