Programs Fall Flings Fall Fling 2009

The pictures below are of our yearly Fall Fling that we hold the second weekend in September. It was great this year as we held it in our store and at a vacant store directly across the street. We had 54 ladies either take Stampscapes classes, sit for the day at an assigned table to do cropping or cardmaking or take part in our make and takes throughout the weekend. We even had a card swap that Sue organized and 8 ladies participated in. Our local merchants or the companies I deal with were very generous with give-aways or door prizes. We had a large group decide to have supper at a local restaurant on the Sat. evening. The food was good and the company great. If the comments we heard about the weekend were anything to go by I would say everyone had a great time. It was such a treat for me not to have to pack up half the store to take it to another venue that my goal is to continue to have this yearly event in my hometown in the downtown area. We'll see how things shape up next year.

Many thanks to those attendees that supported my event this year.

You'll see there are 2 pictures of Bryan (my 2nd favourite guy) teaching the Stampscapes class. He had 5 classes in 2 days and taught 26 ladies. Many of them said they wanted to take Bryan home with them as he was so sweet and helpful. Believe me he is one of a kind.and very talented.

There are 3 pictures of Sue, Brenda and Sandy (Bryan's wife) hosting their make and takes. I've lost count on how many ladies went through the make and takes throughout the weekend. Can you pick out my 3 ladies at the make and take tables who are the best thing that happened to Stamplicity?

The following are some of the make and takes the ladies who attended had the chance to work on. Many different products, stamps and techniques were taught.

The 8 ladies that took part in the card swap are pictured below.

The balance of the pictures are of attendees just having a good time, getting advice or working with the tools we had available for them to use such as the Cricut, the Slice and the very popular Cuttlebug and their products as well as the Nestabilities by Spellbinders which you can use in the Cuttlebug. In 1 of the pictures you can see Janice (who is the lady I call when I need someone to watch the store when something unexpected comes up.) Can you find her? Janice is also the best thing. I have the most amazing gifted staff.
