STAMPLICITY NEWSFLASH
We are holding a party for our 3 S members this Friday April 29th. As part of the evening we are featuring a garage sale where the members can bring their old treasures to sell to other members. We have decided to open this garage sale up to all Stamplicity customers, therefore from 7 to 9pm on the Friday evening anyone is welcome to come to our garage sale. There will be a sign posted in our store window on the Friday by 7pm to direct you to the sale. Please be aware the store itself is only open for the evening to 3S members and the sign will only direct you to a different location for the garage sale. Keith will be there handling all the sales. Cash only please.
In a previous newsletter I mentioned that we will once again be selling Radiant Pearls. This was an error on my part. We are actually selling H20 twinkles once again, in sets only. Some people are confused in the difference of H20’s, Radiant Pearls, Pearl Ex and Perfect Pearls. The following I hope will clarify the difference between these products.
Radiant Pearls are more of a pasty liquid. As far as I know you cannot get this product anymore.
Pearl Ex is a pigment powder (made by Jacquard) & the cool thing about it, is it sticks to a Versamark inked image so you can stamp an image and brush a very little bit of the pearl ex over it. Works great on dark colour cardstock. You need to seal it though because the powder has no fixative and can be brushed off if you are not careful. To paint with pearl ex you must mix it in a medium (other than water because it would just brush off when it dries as there is no "glue or binding" to keep it in place).
Perfect Pearls (made by Ranger) are also a pigment powder & can also be applied to an image stamped with Versamark but works better with a Perfect Medium Ink stamped image as the powder will not rub off. Perfect Pearls and the Perfect Medium Ink are meant to be used together.
Twinkling H2Os are just like watercolors, a solid medium you use with a damp watercolor brush. It does not blend as well as radiant pearls, but dries extremely fast. Very nice to paint with.
Many of the new Spellbinders are now in stock and we are trying our best to keep new Tim Holtz’s products in the store ourselves. Our store is well stocked with many new products..come and visit us. We continue to add to our Viva Décor products and will soon have their embossing paste that works with stencils. New Penny Black stamps and clear stamps made in the UK will be here in the next week. We are slowly filling our shelves with other new stamp lines. New resist cardstocks, glitter cardstocks are now on our shelves.
For many of you that have the Sure Cuts A Lot program for your Cricut, the absolute best cardstock to use for cutting purposes is from American Crafts (AC cardstock). My customers swear for intricate cutting this stock is the best and I have seen it for myself. I can order this in packages.
That’s it for this Newsflash…come visit our fully stocked store. Happy Spring
