JULY NEWSFLASH

Always something to tell you about.  Point form always seems to have things pop out more.  Here's the latest on what's up at the store.

- I have decided not have the store open Thursday evenings for the summer.  Now that it's summer, I think people just want to be outdoors instead of inside stamping or scrapping.  I will be opening the store Thursday evenings in the fall as I have some ladies requesting that there be an evening for them to work on their Christmas cards.

- some exciting news is, Kelley Grace, who is the teacher for our Fall Fling has brought in samples of the actual cards that will be made in her classes.  They are even more amazing when you can touch and feel them.  You will learn some awesome techniques in any class that you decide to take.  Come in and have a look.  If you're interested in attending any part of our Fall Fling I would suggest you signing up early to avoid disappointment.  I know many of you like to wait till the time gets closer but our weekend is a popular event so don't procrastinate.

-  Canal Days is just around the corner and once again I will be having extended hours throughout the weekend although I have decided to close Monday August 1st to enjoy a day off myself.  I am usually open till 7pm on the Friday, Sat and Sunday for that weekend.  Come and visit, as it's a great weekend in Port Colborne, with bands throughout the weekend, car shows, kite events, and lots going on , on West Street and at HH Knoll Park,  not to mention the food booths.

- A group of us attended the Relay for Life Event at Brock University recently and Brenda's team raised over $3,800. for cancer.  We had alot of fun despite the rain and a fall I had while walking the route.  Only got bruised but the 2 black eyes were pretty colourful for awhile.  All is well.  Thanks to all who supported us.

- Our Paper Line for the 3rd Quarter is featuring Bo Bunny's Zoology with classes in different types of papercrafting, including a double page scrapbooking layout.  Call to sign up for a class with Brenda.

- Oh brother, Spellbinders is having a blog party again to show off some of their new diecuts that are being introduced at the Chicago retail convention.   Here's just a little info on what it's about.  Remember you can pre-order anything at Stamplicity that you see on their blog.

Once the retailer show is over we'll have lots of news to share with you about new products etc.  In the meantime check out our New Products area on our site to see what we are looking forward to receiving in the Tim Holtz line, UK embossing folders and Sizzix products. There's always new 3D's arriving as well and new Multi Frames from the UK.  We are anxiously waiting for stamp Companies to bring out their new Christmas designs.
