NOVEMBER 27TH NEWSFLASH

For those of you that are Tim Holtz fans, we have had Tim’s paper packages in the store for awhile and I have decided to separate these packages and sell the double sided cardstock individually. I know some of you don’t want an entire package so now is your chance to purchase just the paper you want.  I know the paper won’t last long and I am open Monday night till 9 so come in and purchase your favorites before they are gone. (each sheet $1.15)
 
I have a request for those of you that enjoy making cards just for the joy of giving it to someone who would really appreciate it. I have a dear friend that earlier this year was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). Karen retired 3 years ago, is only 57 and never expected to be living in this hell (as she states). Karen’s disease has progressed so much in the last 3 months it has been heartbreaking. She now needs a wheelchair and a pad and pencil to get her message across as her speech is suffering so. I will be making a trip to London a couple times in the next 2 weeks to see what the next step is to providing some comfort to her for the next few months. What I am asking is, if you could spare a little time to make a card for Karen for Christmas. (Get well cards are really not appropriate at this stage for Karen.) She is so appreciative of any little thing someone does for her, although I suspect the tears will be flowing as she opens any card it will be worth the time anyone takes to make a card for her.

CHRISTMAS MEMORIES ALBUM  DECEMBER 12TH MON  1PM

Join us as we create a special memory album inspired by Tim Holtz. The album will encompass everything Christmas including wishes, photos and thoughts. Tuck away special momentos in the album pockets and add your own pages to truly create your own personalized album. Students are asked to bring their basic tool kit and all other materials will be provided. There will even be products to take home with you.  Please be aware the album pictured above that Brenda completed in Texas,  will be slightly larger when completed by students.
 
CHRISTMAS CONFIGURATION BOX   DECEMBER 5TH MON 10:30 AM

Create a truly unique Christmas decoration for yourself or a loved one. In this class capture the magic of Christmas as you tuck in mementos in the configuration box. A wonderful piece to display during Christmas. Students are asked to bring their basic tool kit. Other materials will be provided and don’t forget it’s Christmas so there will be take home products. Please be aware that the box students will make in class will be slightly different than the picture above, which is the box Brenda completed in Texas.
CHRISTMAS TIME PIECES DECEMBER 9TH FRI   10:30 AM

Create two unique time pieces in this Christmas class. First you will create a one of a kind piece of jewellery using a pocket watch. Then we will paper craft a beautiful frame to hold your favorite Christmas memory. Both projects make great gifts. Students are required to bring their basic tool kit to class. All other materials are included.
 
WINTER SONG ALTERED BOOK  DATE NOT DETERMINED
$45.00 approx 2 1/2 hours
We are currently trying to get a feel for those of you that would be interested in taking this class in the new year. We have had a positive response just by the album being on display in the store but would like to know how many kits we should prepare and quantities of paper we should order.  I took this class in Texas, but Brenda is the prime teacher in my store so it will be her class. This paper line will be featured in the 1st quarter, therefore Brenda will also be preparing a double page scrapbooking layout and a card class. No class date has been decided yet but due to the overwhelming response it will probably be run many times.  Please let us know if you are interested in this class.
 
Join Brenda as she walks you through creating a beautiful altered book. The soft palette of purples and silver are perfect for your winter holiday photos. Brenda includes touches of Luminarte and Paint It papers. This album will be altered a bit to accommodate the dies we have access to, to make the book.
